Let's Get Acquainted!

Hello Fellow Parents!

My name is Amanda R. and I make up 1/2 of the title "The Amanda's" (my partner, Amanda M., holds the other 1/2 of the title). We are the owners of Bounce Your Heart Out, LLC - a family owned and operated inflatable bounce house rental company located in Prosper, TX - and have been come to be given this nickname throughout the community.

As loving moms, who have enjoyed many years of bouncing themselves (and still do might I add), we strive at giving back to the community through laughter and joy. We strongly believe that kids are our future and a happy kid makes for a happy parent. Come on parents....you know this is true! I have a two year old for crying out loud! If he isn't happy, I'm definitely NOT happy! :-) And, as moms I also know that there isn't any "perfect" technique to parenting. Goodness, do I wish there was a book or bible that tells us exactly what to do or how to do it. But, unfortunately, its just someone else's opinions.

However, I know, that its my friends' opinions who have experienced parenthood ahead of me whom I listen to the most and are the first ones I run to for advice on anything parent related. Although I am a first time mom, and my son is very young (again, he is only two-just turned two a few days ago at that), there is a subject I am familiar with that I can, in fact, offer plenty of advice and information to that most moms/dads/guardians don't: bounce houses & safety

This is why I decided to start this blog. So many people (big & small) have injuries each year on trampolines, pools, bounce houses, etc because they simply didn't know the rules/guidelines or were simply misguided. If I can help even one person from getting a bruise on a forehead or knee, then my blog was well worth it. Over the next several posts I will blog about Fun Facts, Safety Tips, & Guidelines to Bounce House Fun. For any of you out there that are thinking of opening a bounce house business that might have any questions or if you are a parent/guardian with any questions, please feel free to ask. I will be more than happy to assist.

So, let's begin shall we?
